Data VIBELI Handles

The app currently handles account identifiers such as email address, profile information such as name, age, city, bio, interests and preferences, profile photos, optional location coordinates, match/swipe activity, chat messages and uploaded chat media, reports and blocks, device push tokens when registered, and session tokens.

Purpose

Data is used to create and authenticate accounts, show dating recommendations, support profile editing, operate chats and matches, process reports and blocks, provide safety and moderation features, and respond to privacy or account deletion requests. VIBELI also uses email address data to send required account verification and password reset messages.

Third Parties and SDKs

The current mobile app uses Expo/React Native SDKs for secure storage, image picking, camera, microphone/audio, video, and location permission flows. No advertising SDK, analytics SDK, crash reporting SDK, payment SDK, Firebase, Supabase, Auth0, or Clerk integration is present in the current repository.

Security

Production deployment must use HTTPS. Session data is stored through Expo SecureStore on native platforms. Backend access tokens and refresh tokens are used for authenticated API calls.

Retention and Deletion

Users can delete their account in the app under Profile Settings or request deletion at /account-deletion. VIBELI removes the account, sessions, push tokens, swipes, matches, messages, reports involving the user, and uploaded references from its application data store. Limited records may be retained only when required for safety, fraud prevention, legal, tax, or regulatory obligations.
